Jim Stochaj
President
Jim has been in the insurance business since 1981. In 2002, Jim and his wife Lisa purchased E.J. Stochaj Insurance Agency, Inc. from Jim’s parents, who established the agency in 1975. In 2008, Jim purchased the former Bouvier Insurance Agency in Sturbridge, and re-branded the agency to its current name – The Hometown Insurance Center, LLC. In April 2018, Jim purchased the Tonry Insurance Agency – Webster. In December of 2020, Jim expanded the agency footprint into Western Mass with the acquisition of Crimmins-Graveline Insurance in Palmer. Jim also serves on the board of HANDS, a nonprofit organization founded to “lend a hand” to Dudley seniors in need of assistance with their monthly food, heating and/or utility expenses. In his free time, Jim enjoys traveling with his wife Lisa, golf, dabbling in real estate and spending time with his grandsons, Easton & Oliver.

Diane has been specializing in personal and commercial lines insurance in the Webster-Dudley area since 1972. She takes pride in servicing customers with respect and understanding their needs. She enjoys the company of family and friends when not in the office.

Malgorzata Kicilinska

Malgorzata has been part of the Stochaj team since 2016. Before she moved to the U.S., she owned a family business in Poland for 20 years, where she gained her sales experience. She began her career in the U.S. by working at a bank as a teller, customer service and loan officer. Malgorzata works as a personal auto processor. Always with a smile, she is willing to assist clients with their insurance or notary public needs. Outside of work, she likes to read, travel, go fishing with her husband, and spend time with family and friends. Her daily message: “Do your best, whatever you do; be happy where ever you go.”
Lacie Jellesma
Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative
Lacie works in the commercial department, thoroughly reviewing our customers’ policies upon their renewal each year. By having someone that can take the time to excavate through the coverages and set up constant communications with our underwriters, we can be sure our clients have not only the best coverage, but the best price as well. In her free time, Lacie likes to travel to visit family and friends, and go hiking with her dog. She is a nature and animal lover (having a growing zoo of pets herself), and also loves to dabble in anything DIY.

Andrew started working with Stochaj in 2020. For the previous 6 years, he managed the commercial and personal rental/leasing department at Enterprise Holdings and Ryder Systems Inc. Andrew is ready to assist with all of your personal insurance needs. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife Danielle, his son Wesley and his golden doodle Rosie. He also likes to golf, attending sporting events, and enjoys the great outdoors of Maine.

Anne started with Stochaj in 2020 and manages all of our financial data. She has many years’ experience in the accounting field. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and attending cow shows.

Karen joined the Stochaj team in 2023. She has a background in retail management. Karen is dedicated to customer service and uses her experience to relate to our commercial customers. When she’s not spending time with her family, she’s working on a home improvement project or enjoying nature.
Christine Blando
Personal Lines Account Manager
Christine started working at Stochaj Insurance at the beginning of March 2024. She has over 27 years of experience in the insurance industry, working in many different personal and commercial lines arenas. For the most recent 10 years, Christine worked at Mapfre Insurance in the Commercial Lines Auto department. She brings all her past insurance knowledge and expertise to her current position at Stochaj. She grew up in Webster and moved to Dudley in 2020. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her husband Paul and all 4 of their children. Fun fact: All 4 children’s names create the anagram R.O.S.E. in age order … Rachel, Olivia, Sadie & Ethan! 🙂
